Pioneer of crypto-art influenced by existentialist philosophy and former street artist, Skygolpe’s work is centered around the motif of the silhouette. Throughout his works, he fills the silhouette in with painted, printed, photographed, or drawn surfaces, triturated or flanked with special effects. They make reference to the various cultures that have inspired his work, such as punk, tech, crypto and graffiti. The artist creates his art in two stages: first by painting, meditative and spontaneous, and then with digitization where his logical side tries to make sense of his instincts. These works are introspective, these faces are self-portraits that anyone could identify with.
