The work illustrates our ability to transform anxiety into refuge and fragility into strength. It celebrates resilience, patience and self-healing, reminding us that even in adversity, an inner sanctuary remains possible.
The illustration depicts a bird which, although tangled in threads, weaves a nest using strands of hair. These threads symbolise our tangled thoughts and inner concerns. In Eastern thought, the expression “three thousand worries” refers to the countless torments of the mind.
Work presented as part of the “Human Inside” exhibition at Galerie Artverse, Paris, 2025.
