In her HyperChips series, the artist repeated the prompt "Albertine Meunier eats sausages and fries" multiple times, staging her AI-generated-self in 303 images. These images give free rein to what AI understands from the prompt it was given.
In this iterative work, full of humor and poetry, presenting grotesque images produced by a first-generation AI, Albertine Meunier takes an ironic look at new technologies. Far from criticizing them negatively, she invites the viewers to use these new tools knowingly, to be aware of the mechanisms and implications of their actions, particularly in the field of AI and on the Internet.
This series was displayed at « AI, My Sparring Partner", an exhibition commissioned by Havas, Paris, 2024 and "The Portrait at the Dawn of Web3, reinventing a Genre", en exhibition presented at We Are, Paris, 2023.
