Minuit, aka Dorian Rigal, is a light and digital artist exploring how digital arts can celebrate the night world, as a symbol of an uninhibited freedom.
Using architectural projection, animated film, screen sculpture and virtual reality, he creates an imaginary world where harshness of reality is deformed to become a fantastic landscape.

L’Île, l’écran et le néon
MINUIT
L'écran, l'île et le néon is a screen sculpture representing the imaginary island of Sugarlandia, fantasized by those who have never set foot there. The artwork is about the deconstruction of the frame and of the various layers of reality. By superimposing video on photography, it plays with both moving and still images to reveal a dreamlike landscape.
