About
A pioneer of video art, Jacques Perconte films nature with his camera, flying over mountains and sailing on the ocean, to create magnificent visual symphonies, compressing and decompressing images in which the subject slips into abstraction. This “digital impressionism” is the expression of a mad love for geography, a militant ode to nature.
